I was employed as an Illustrator for the Campus Ledger for the 2010-2011 school year. I created 1-3 illustrations per issue, both in black & white and color. Two of my illustrations were featured on the covers, and several pieces have won state and national awards from student journalism associations, including the Kansas Associated Collegiate Press and the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. In addition to individual awards, I earned First Place for Portfolio of Work from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, which is affiliated with the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University in New York City.
